I am Kathy (she/her), a curiosity-driven, pattern-seeking, problem-solving, designer who blends art, technology, and the human dimension to create meaningful, inclusive experiences. I approach life and work with an open mind, ready to explore, learn, and play.

Currently in my final semester of pursuing a BA with a joint major in Interactive Arts & Technology and Communication from Simon Fraser University.

Curiosity
The desire to understand the world around me and how things work allows me to go beyond the surface level, driving me to ask questions, embrace a plurality of perspectives, learn new skills, and explore new possibilities.
Conscientious
Our lived experiences influence how we interact and create for the world around us. By being conscious of my power as a designer, keeping an open mind, learning from others through collaboration, and seeking feedback from diverse perspectives, I can challenge my assumptions and biases, broadening my understanding to create for a better, more inclusive, equitable world.
Compassion
When we take the time to be in the present moment and truly listen without judgment to others, we can then begin to comprehend our differences, make meaningful connections, and respond with kindness, care, and support.
Accountability
I strive to be intentional with my actions, always considering the long-term consequences over short-term gain. I embrace vulnerability and take ownership for my choices, recognizing that every action is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Adventure
Approaching life and work lightheartedly, with a sense of fun and exploration, I am able to venture beyond my comfort zone, embracing challenges and new experiences.
